a little bit of explanation:

Chuck Swindoll spoke a very humbling message today on 99.5 KKLA “the intersection of faith… and reason”. *sigh* - Mephibosheth - in all his crippled inability, to be carried to the table of the king. oh man… it really made me realize that i’m Mephibosheth - totally unworthy and even lost in my own depravity - culturally, socially, characteristically crippled by sin. and to be summoned by the King to sit at His table - not because of what I’d done, but because of one who went before me and saved me. ahh how humbling.  and then i was reminded of this song by Leeland… and it really drove the point home.  yess - once again, another example of the great teamwork of Biblical truth and beautiful melodies.
